GOTHENBURG, NE -- Winona State University's
Brady Strangstalien carded another round of one-under par 71 to captured the medalist honors to the, two-day, 54-hole, NSIC/RMAC Crossover Tournament held at the Wild Horse Golf Club.
Strangstalien was tied after the first 36 holes of the tournament but followed that up by turning in the low round of the day with his 71 on the, par 72, 6,835-yard, course to finish with a 221 and lead the field of 85 players by two strokes.
Stranstalien had posted a 71 on his first 18 holes to take the early lead, but followed that up with a 79 to stand in a tie for the lead after the first two rounds.
The WSU team finished in tenth place out of the 17 team that competed from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Warriors started with rounds of 320 and 333 on the first day and finished up with a a 315 to total 968,
Nick Hoegger followed Strangstalien in the team effort with a 248 (81-82-85) to tie for 53rd and Tyler Whiteley tied for 59th on scores of 84-86-80 for a 250.
