SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Winona State women's cross country team was led by Freshman
Olivia Anger who earned a 6
th place finish out of 228 runners. Anger crossed the line with a time of 17:09.1, helping the Warriors take first at the Augustana Twilight meet. The Warriors beat out Sioux Falls by 31 points.
Raissa Hansen was the second Warrior to cross the line with a time of 17:17.88 earning her a 10
th place finish.
Senior
Amanda Kaiser finished 19
th with a time 17:40.7 and just behind her was junior
McKenzie Fortier (17:42.4) finishing in 20
th place.
The next pair of Warriors to cross the line were Anna Roghan with a time of 17:50.02, 29
th place, and Sophomore
Hope Willenbrink finished with a time of 17:51.71 earning her 30
th place.
Madeline Tompach finished with a time of 17:58.81 earning her a 36
th place finish and
Heidi Hujik came in 38
th place with a time of 17:59.54.
McKenzie Carper rounded out the top 50 places with a time of 18:00.70 earning her 42
nd place.
The Warriors will be back on the trail Friday September 23
rd, for a 9:50a.m. start at the Griak Invitational in St. Paul, Minn.
