MANKATO, Minn. – Winona State was able to earn victories in the 3000 meters and weight throw on Friday night.
Kaitlyn Long set a facility record, winning the weight throw with a mark of 20.95 meters/68'9'' feet.
Raissa Hansen won the 3000 meters in a time of 10:10.08.
Hansen set a season best for any Warrior in the 3000 meters and her time set a new school record. She broke her pervious personal best by nearly five seconds.
Long led a group of ten throwers in the weight throw, who all finished 14
th or better.
Kathleen Taylor was third with a throw of 17.16m/56'3.75'' feet.

Erin Perkins and
Mikayla Lindell all had NCAA provisional marks. Taylor improved her personal best by .66 meters/2'2'' feet. It was also a new personal best for Lindell on the night.

Johnna Patterson,
Hope Willenbrink and
Anna Rogahn combined to finish second in the distance medley with a time of 12:40.49. The time is good enough for ninth fastest in program history.
