Larsen named NSIC Volleyball Setter of the Week

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Winona State University's McKenna Larsen has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Volleyball Setter of the Week.

Larsen totaled 83 assists, 31 digs, 15 kills, one service ace and a block as No. 17 Winona secured road wins at No. 15 Augustana and No. 20 Wayne State over the weekend.

The Warriors improved to 16-7 (10-5 NSIC) with the road sweep and moved into sole possession of fifth place in the crowded conference race with two weeks remaining in the regular season.

The senior bested her season averages in both assists/set (11.86) and digs/set (4.4) in the two road contests.

Larsen ranks sixth this year in the NSIC in assists/set (10.42) and service aces/set (0.38).

Her triple-double on Saturday of 48 assists, 18 digs and 10 kills was her team-leading third of the season.

Winona State returns to action at this week with a three-match homestand beginning with (RV) Upper Iowa on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in McCown Gymnasium.
