LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), in association with Sports Imports, announced on Tuesday that Winona State University's McKenna Larsen has been named the Division II Player of the Week.

Larsen, who was named Winona's first AVCA All-American in program history last season, becomes the Warriors' first-ever recipient of the AVCA Player of the Week award.

The senior from Oconto Falls, Wisconsin guided the Warrior offense to a .332 team hitting percentage over two road sweeps last weekend while dishing out 68 total assists.

Larsen also stuffed the stat sheet with 20 digs, 18 kills and two service aces for the week. She tallied her third triple-double of the year at Moorhead on Friday with 10 kills, 14 digs and 33 assists.

The senior setter ranks sixth in the NSIC this season in assists/set (10.53). Larsen ranks second all-time in program history with 4,343 assists.

No. 14 Winona State (21-7, 15-5 NSIC) travels to No. 6 Minnesota Duluth (23-5, 16-4 NSIC) on Wednesday for the first round of the conference postseason tournament. The Warriors enter the tournament riding a season-long seven match winning streak.
