BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Winona State University's Hannah McGlone has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) South Division Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
The senior from Streamwood, Illinois averaged 22 points, 15 rebounds and 3.5 assists over two games for the Warriors last weekend. She recorded double-doubles in each contest, and now has three this season and 15 in her career.
McGlone scored a career-high 25 points while matching her season high of 17 rebounds on Friday at Sioux Falls. She followed that up with 19 points and 13 rebounds in a win at SMSU on Saturday.
She also stuffed her stat sheet with seven assists, one blocked shot and one steal on the weekend.
McGlone leads the NSIC in rebounds per game (11.3) and ranks fifth in scoring (14.9 ppg).
Winona State (6-1, 2-1 NSIC) hosts a pair of conference opponents this weekend beginning with Minnesota State on Friday, December 8 at 6 p.m. in McCown Gymnasium.
