MANKATO, Minn. – Winona State's Haley Reinke and Olivia Fixsen finished eighth and ninth at the Pentathlon 2017 NSIC Indoor Championships on Sunday. Reinke's eighth place finish secured one team point for Winona State. The point will apply to the Warriors overall total when the NSIC Indoor Championships take place on Feb. 24-25 in Mankato.
 
Both Fixsen and Reinke tied for second place in the high jump during the event.
 
Fixsen ran 9.17 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles and ran a 2:36.36 in the 800-meters. Her three highest scoring events were the 60-meter hurdles, high jump and 800-meters.
 
Reinke's top three events were the 60-meter hurdles, high jump and long jump in that order. Her 5.33 meter/17'6'' foot long jump earned her 651 points.
