BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Winona State University's Hannah McGlone has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) South Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time in the 2017-18 season.

McGlone averaged 16.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks over two Warrior wins last weekend. The senior recorded a double-double in each contest, and has five straight, including nine in her last 11 games.

She scored 11 of her 21 points against Sioux Falls in the fourth quarter on Saturday to guide Winona to its eighth straight win.

McGlone leads the NSIC in rebounding (11.2) and ranks sixth in scoring (15.4).

Winona State (13-1, 9-1 NSIC) plays at home on Friday and Saturday this weekend, seeking to extend its season-best winning streak.
